Evergreen Resident Cody Shultz to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Evergreen resident Cody Shultz,son of Sherrie Shultzand Roger Shultz, graduated from Colorado Academy (CA) on Friday, June 5, 2009.

Cody has attended CA since the first grade and has been especially interested in computer science and physics during his high school years.

Cody has been involved in the theatre technology department at CA from middle school through his senior year. He has studied the violin since 3 rd grade and has participated in the String Ensemble for the last 4 years. Cody also plays guitar and the banjo. In 2007, he performed in the CA Centennial Circus. Outside of school he creates spray paint art.

He has played baseball for CA and wasco-captain of the CA climbing team. Cody is also an avid skier.

Cody has also served as a People to People Ambassador to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan as well as attending Space Camp at two different venues.

This fall, Cody is looking forward to attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts where he was awarded a $5,000 merit scholarship and plans to study robotics engineering.
