Evergreen Resident to Attend Santa Clara Univ

Evergreen Resident Spencer Devereaux to attend Santa Clara University

Evergreen resident Spencer Devereaux, son of Heidi and Jack Devereaux, graduated from Colorado Academy (CA) on Friday, June 5, 2009.

Spencer has attended CA since 3 rd grade and has enjoyed the sciences and foreign language classes the most. He was also a dedicated artist specializing in working with metal.

Spencer was captain of the CA junior varsity tennis team and led them to a winning season this year. He also played on the state championship Ultimate Frisbee team.

Spencer participated in several different clubs in high school including Africa Aid, Model UN, and Student HOPE (Helping Other People Eat). Most notably he was a sports page editor for the school yearbook.

This fall, Spencer is looking forward to attending Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.
