The Evergreen Players will be holding auditions for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, a musical comedy by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts on Saturday, March 3, starting at 1:00 pm, at Center/Stage, 27608 Fireweed Drive, Evergreen. The auditions will last three hours, and no appointment is necessary.

A riotous musical revue about everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws, I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change will play for five weekends, July 6 - August 5, 2007 (Friday & Saturday evenings, Sunday Matinee) for a total of 15 performances.

Rehearsal dates: The rehearsal commitment will be for 2 weeknights per week, and one weekend afternoon per week approximately 6 weeks before opening. Actual dates will be negotiated with the cast. Tech week will begin with evening rehearsals on Sunday, July 1 and will continue (including July 4th) until opening.

Please prepare two 16-bar audition pieces - one ballad and one up-tempo. An accompanist will be provided. Selected readings from the script will follow.

Roles: Two men and two women will be cast for this production. These four actors portray many characters who struggle with the joys and complexities of love and relationships.

Although the show will have live accompaniment, the cast will be given rehearsal CDs at the time of casting and will be expected to have memorized their particular songs when rehearsals begin approximately 6 weeks before opening.
