Jefferson County Commissioner Kathy Hartman will hold a "Commissioner Coffee" Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9-11, at the Aspen Perk Coffee Shop in Conifer. All mountain-area citizens are invited to drop in, share a cup of coffee or tea, and discuss issues that concern them.

"This is designed to be an informal way for citizens to meet with their elected officials and have their issues and concerns heard," explained Hartman. "I plan to hold these monthly on the 4 th Saturday of the month, with the exception of November and December. These coffees are part of my pledge to provide open, accessible government."

Hartman is the County Commissioner for the 3 rd District, which includes most of Evergreen, all of Conifer, and most of South Jeffco. She was elected in 2006 and serves a 4 year term.
