Casino Night benefits The Children's Hospital

EVERGREEN, Colo. - Take a virtual trip to Vegas with gaming, entertainment, silent auction, dancing, sweets, cocktails and fabulous prizes while only traveling to nearby Evergreen. Hosted by Congregation Beth Evergreen with partial proceeds to help benefit The Children's Hospital in Denver, "Vegas, Baby!" is a casino night fundraiser that's dealing a full deck!

The non-secular event is scheduled for April 5, at 7:30 p.m., held at Hiwan Golf Club, 30671 Clubhouse Lane in Evergreen. It is open to Denver, Boulder and Foothills area communities - and to anyone ready to shuffle cards and roll the dice for a meaningful cause. A silent auction for additional fundraising features a range of prizes, including a vacation in Mexico; a week in Keystone, Colo.; tickets to a Rockies game; a bicycle; and baskets of goodies.

"Our goal is to bring to bring all communities and all religions together to have fun and to benefit children, the common thread in us all," said Beth Miller, co-chair of " Vegas, Baby!"

"Specifically, proceeds will support The Children's Hospital's East Pavilion, which provides teen patients with a lively recreation center during their recoveries. With proceeds from ' Vegas, Baby!,' we plan to fill the gymnasium with sports equipment -- from yoga mats and basketballs to weights and exercise balls -- to give this therapeutic outlet its highest, healthiest potential," added Iris Solomon, co-chair.

Congregation Beth Evergreen hosts an annual fundraiser every spring. "Spring is about growth and new beginnings. So, our synagogue chose this time of year to celebrate and champion the newest addition to The Children's Hospital," said Susie Speer, president of Congregation Beth Evergreen.

The " Vegas, Baby!" party costs $55 per person or $100 for two people. To RSVP, visit www.bethevergreen.org. For questions, contact Beth Miller at beth@reunited.com.
