Students sweat with the Avalanche

Evergreen Middle School eighth-graders trained with professionals to get fit. Colorado Avalanche players Ben Guite and Brian Willsie visited the school's new gym to train with the school's 25-member Team Fit. The Avalanche's strength and conditioning Coach Paul Goldberg ran a 40-minute work out with the students. The players signed autographs and each student received an Av's poster and a Team Fit jump rope. The EMS students presented the players and trainer with an Evergreen gift basket to show their appreciation for them making the trip from Denver to the mountain school.
