Open Space Master Plan is Focus of Open Houses

JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN UPDATE UNDERWAY

Jefferson County Open Space is in the process of updating the 2003 Master Plan. Every five years the plan is refreshed and new information is added. Interested individuals, groups and community leaders are encouraged to attend one or both of the following open house events to share information, make comments and offer ideas regarding the draft 2008 Master Plan. The events are scheduled on:

Saturday, April 12, 2008 • 9:00-11:00 a.m.
or
Thursday, April 17, 2008 • 6:00-8:30 p.m.
In the
Open Space Advisory Committee Hearing Room
700 Jefferson County Parkway
Golden, Colorado

The open house format will allow time to interact with Open Space staff, view maps, ask questions and provide written comment. No formal presentation will be made. The draft plan is available for comment through April 30, 2008.
