CBE invites you to high holiday services


Join Congregation Beth Evergreen in celebrating the Jewish High Holidays this year. A member of the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, Beth Evergreen offers services that weave tradition with contemporary liturgy, music and congregational participation to create a vibrant worship experience. Beth Evergreen is set in the pines overlooking Elk Meadow at 2981 Bergen Peak Drive.

Rabbi Jamie Arnold will lead High Holiday services with music by Steve Brodsky and members of the congregation.

The schedule of services:
Erev Rosh Hashanah: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 (ticket required)
Childcare provided.

Rosh Hashanah: Thursday, Sept. 13 (ticket required)
Services begin at 9:30 a.m.
Childcare provided
Children's Service: 3 p.m. (no ticket required; open to the community)

Rosh Hashanah: Friday, Sept. 14
Services begin at 10 a.m. (No ticket required; open to the community)
Childcare provided
Tashlich (casting off sins) to follow at Buchanan Park Lake (next to Recreation Center); bring bread crumbs.

Kol Nidre / Erev Yom Kippur and Shabbat: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 (ticket required)
Childcare provided

Yom Kippur: Saturday, Sept. 22
Services begin at 9:30 a.m. (ticket required)
Children's Service: 3 p.m. (no ticket required; open to the community)
Healing Service: 4:15 p.m. (no ticket required; open to the community)
Yizkor and Closing Services: Approximately 5 p.m. (no ticket required; open to the community).
Childcare provided during all Yom Kippur services
