Rabbi, Israeli Wife to Discuss Essential Judaism
Those who have always wanted to know the essentials of Judaism are invited to join Rabbi Levi Brackman and his wife Sheindy Brackman on January 28th at 6:30 pm at United Methodist Church in Evergreen.
The Brackmans will share a brief history of the Hebrews and their time in Israel, the significance of Israel to Judaism and the Jewish people, and some of the core beliefs, culture, and traditions of Judaism.
Rabbi Brackman, 29, was born in London, England and studied in Israel, America and Canada. He holds a MA in Hebrew & Jewish Studies from the University of London.
Levi is a founding member of The Movement for a Tolerant World, an organization that offers young people in the Middle East and internationally an opportunity to make positive changes in their world.

Sheindy Brackman, 26, was born in Israel. She teaches Hebrew and Judaic studies, classes on women's issues, and teaches conversational and written Hebrew to adults.
Rabbi Levi Brackman and his wife Mrs. Sheindy Brackman are the executive directors of Judaism in the Foothills. They live in Evergreen with their three young sons.
