Bring a Pepsi Bottle Cap to the Customer Service Desk and Spin to win on the Pepsi Prize Wheel while quantities last! Join everyone in center court at 12 PM and enjoy the cool moves of De Andre Carroll and the Fun Kinetic, always a crowd favorite. At 12:30 PM settle in and catch the latest, trends in the Fall Fashion Style Show, featuring models from MTM Talent.

Don't forget to drop into the Jean Zone. This is the spot to set your fashionista free and learn from our special guest experts, Melinda Barta, and Amy Clarke Moore, from Interweave Press, how to create your own unique style through the art of embellishing your own clothing and creating your own accessories! Melinda, Assistant Managing Editor of Interweave Press Beadwork and Stringing Magazines and author of Hip to Stitch: 20 Contemporary Projects embellished with thread, will conduct seminars based on the projects from her popular Hip to Stitch book. Amy, Editor of Interweave Press Spin-off Magazine and co-author of Beaded Embellishment: Techniques and Designs for Embroidering on Cloth, will conduct seminars based on her expertise in bead embroidery.

Both these talented artists will show how to take an ordinary item of clothing and with a little time and imagination make it an expression of your own style and a one of a kind fashion statement!
Tables will be set up in the area to experiment with the techniques that Melinda and Amy demonstrate. Supplies available while quantities last. Bring in your favorite jeans or other item of clothing that you would like to customize and release the fashion designer in you! Look out Project Runway!

Melinda Barta
Melinda graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1998 and received her BFA in fiber art and a minor in apparel design from Colorado State University in 2002. She is assistant managing editor of Interweave Press's Beadwork and Stringing magazines and is formerly PieceWork magazine's project editor. Melinda is also the author of Hip to Stitch: 20 Contemporary Projects Embellished with Thread (Interweave Press, 2005).
She can be contacted through her website at www.hiptostitch.com or by emailing melinda@hiptostitch.com.

Amy Clarke Moore
Born in 1969 in Boulder, Colorado-the daughter of a professor of language acquisition and a watercolor artist-Amy grew up in a nurturing environment of literature and visual arts. Her work is born out of a passionate interest in fairytales, myths, and art.

Amy started beading in 1998 to complete a staff project for Beadwork magazine, and she was hooked from that moment on. She enjoys the process of stitching the beads to cloth. Each bead is like a thought, and the spiral path of her beadwork is like the passage of time, with each moment building on the next until an image emerges.
Amy is the editor of Spin-Off magazine published by Interweave Press in Loveland, Colorado. She earned her B.A. from Cornell College in Iowa in 1991, majoring in Spanish, Latin American Studies, and Art. In 1997 she earned her M.F.A. in Fibers from Colorado State University's Art department.

She wrote Beaded Embellishment: Techniques and Designs for Embroidering on Cloth with Robin Atkins, which was published by Interweave Press in 2002. Visit her website at www.amyclarkemoore.com.
Recently and happily married, she changed her name from Amy C. Clarke to Amy Clarke Moore.
