Girl Scout donates 85 dozen cookies to EChO

Cori Mayer of Evergreen delivered 85 dozen home-made holiday cookies to the food bank at Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO) on Monday. This project was the culmination of her work to complete the Bronze Award, the highest award in Junior Girl Scouts. Cori got "dough-nations" of sprinkles and cookie dough from King Soopers, Safeway, and Albertson's. She invited friends from her swim team and from school to two cookie-making parties, during which the girls rolled out, decorated, baked, and packaged 1020 cookies!! "I couldn't have done it without the help of my friends- they are the greatest! I am sure these home-made cookies will brighten the holidays for the people who come to EChO. " she said. Congratulations, Cori, on earning your Bronze Award!
