Another "Best" for Evergreen's Highland Haven

Highland Haven makes Mountain Living's "Best of the High Country"

EVERGREEN-The Highland Haven Creekside Inn was named winner in the "Bed & Breakfast" category of Mountain Living magazine's "Best of the High Country" issue in January. The magazine cited the inn's quick drive from Denver, stating that "you'll be welcomed with impeccable, friendly service and beautiful Colorado-style décor." It also advised readers to: "Enjoy a scrumptious homemade breakfast before heading outdoors to marvel in the lodge's wonderful location along Bear Creek."

"We work hard to indulge each one of our guests, making sure they enjoy the highest level of service, heavenly accommodations and, of course, the world's best breakfast," said Highland Haven owner Gail Riley. "We are very grateful for Mountain Living's continuing recognition of our efforts."

The January issue marks Mountain Living's 8th annual "Best of the High Country" winter edition. The Highland Haven has been recognized in four prior issues, including as one of the 10 Best Romantic Getaways and readers' choice for Best Small Inn.

The Highland Haven was also named one of the nation's top 10 most romantic cottages by Sunset magazine in 2007. The inn features 17 rooms, suites and cottages, each distinctly appointed in "Colorado chic" décor, designed for maximum comfort and luxury. Known for its emphasis on customer service, the Highland Haven serves a full, homemade breakfast in the Dailey Cabin, and is situated along 400 feet of Bear Creeknear downtown Evergreen, only an hour away from Denver International Airport. Many of owner Gail Riley's breakfast and other recipes are featured in her book, Colorado Cravings, Recipes and Romance from the Award-Winning Highland Haven Creekside Inn(www.coloradocravings.com).
