Seeking Santa Helpers
Contributed by: maren schreiber on 10/5/2007

We are looking for sponsors, volunteers and performers for Santa's Workshop .
If you have a talent and would like to perform in front of a large group we would love to have you participate. On behalf of Evergreen Park and Recreation District's Special Needs Program, we would like to invite your company to sponsor Santa's Workshop at the Evergreen Lake House to be held on the 8th of December 2007.
Last year was our first year for this fun community event. It was a huge success.
Your generous donation will provide families a fun outing where children
can decorate cookies, make art projects, play games, eat lunch, watch performers, visit with Santa, get their picture taken and much more.
We are currently seeking sponsorship for Santa's Workshop. With the generous
support of industry we plan to maintain and improve upon the high
standards of the Special Needs Program. This year's levels of sponsorships
are outlined in the flyer. Companies offering their support will receive recognition in all publications, as well as the chance to display corporate literature and interact with families at the Workshop. As a sponsor of Santa's Workshop, you are invited to send delegates to the Workshop, so they will have the opportunity to introduce your company to the families of Evergreen.
Each year EPRD continues to advance its mission of its Special Needs Program.
The mission of the Evergreen Park and Recreation District's Special
Needs Program is to contribute to the growth and development of persons
with disabilities, and their families. It increases their opportunities to participate
in community, recreation, leisure and cultural programs, as well as
activities to build daily living skills. Programs and services help prepare persons
who are disabled to become as socially, emotionally, and intellectually
independent as possible. Through our special needs programs we have seen
many lives changed for the better.
In particular the Special Needs Program has enjoyed great success in the past year. We had our largest summer adventure
camp ever and have 27 bowlers and 18 skiers. We offer 5 Colorado
Special Olympics sports, special events, dances and much more.
The goal of the Evergreen Park and Recreation District's Special Needs Program
is to continue to make a difference in the lives of the disabled. With
the help of donations from supporters such as you we will continue to see
improvements in the Special Needs Program. By supporting the Santa's
Workshop you made a two-fold donation by providing the kids of the mountain
community a fun, healthy, activity and your support helps the disabled.
Thanks for helping support a positive, healthy lifestyle for all people.
If you have any questions or require further information about sponsorship
or other aspects of Santa's Workshop, or the EPRD Special Needs
Program, please contact Maren Schreiber
