Clear Creek County's 5th Annual Summer Rally, "Bands, Beer, Brats and Democrats" will be at the Courtney Riley Cooper Park in Idaho Springs July 12 from noon until 6 p.m.

There will be free Tommyknockers beer and music by the Americana/Bluegrass band Dakota Blonde.

Brats and fixins' will be for sale, as well as other political items. Voter registration will be available. The lineup of speakers is awesome; Senator Ken Salazar, US Congressman/Senate Candidate Mark Udall, State Senator/Congressional Candidate Joan Fitz-Gerald, Congressional Candidates Will Shaffroth and Jared Polis, State Senator Dan Gibbs and State Representative Claire Levy, as well as your county commissioners, are all scheduled to appear.

Come and enjoy the fun and take advantage of the opportunity to speak directly to your senator, representatives, and candidates for office about the issues that matter to you.
