Independence Day in Evergreen offers a host of things to do, from the Freedom Run in the morning to the activities and concerts at the lake in the afternoon. If you travel a few miles farther up I-70 there are fireworks in Idaho Springs.

YourHub.com checked out what folks were up to around town and went to see how the shuttle to the lake was working out.
