Mt. Evans Hospice offers "Surviving the Holidays"
Contributed by: Tanya Wheeler-Berliner on 11/14/2006

Holidays can be difficult for people who are grieving. Celebrations and gatherings stir memories of time spent with loved ones and grief strikes when everyone expects you to feel festive. Surviving the Holidays is a workshop led by Barb Lamperski, LSW, that is designed to address the issues grieving people may face during the holidays.

Two times will be offered this year: Thursday, Nov. 30 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Both sessions will be held at the Mt. Evans Hospice offices, located at 3721 Evergreen Parkway, Suite 9. Coping strategies and support resources will be discussed, and light refreshments will be served. Reservations are recommended, as space is limited. To make a reservation, call Mt. Evans Hospice at 303-674-6400.
