Students show they ski with style

Evergreen High School is the only Jeffco school with a skiing sports program, but every Jeffco student is invited to hit the slopes.

Students enrolled in any Jeffco school can strap on their skis and compete by trying out for the team in Evergreen, coached by Maggie Leiman and Hans Wolf.

Members of this year's ski team placed in the top. Congratulations to the ski team for placing third in the boys' giant slolam race and third in the boys' slolam, Golden student-skier Keeli Zigich for taking second place in the individual girl's giant slolam and Evergreen student-skier Jeremy Brown for taking second place in the boys' meister race that includes Nordic and alpine events.
