Jefferson County Sheriff's Office WOMAN REPORTS PEEPING TOM On June 25 at noon a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Sun Creek Drive in Evergreen in reference to a peeping Tom report. After checking the area, he met with the 49-year-old woman who called it in and she said she was asleep when her neighbor came in after knocking and told her that she had come downstairs with her baby and found a man looking in the woman's window. The woman said she checked around, then called the sheriff's office. She said there had been other reported incidents involving a suspicous man looking in windows and she wanted to document the incident. SUMMONS GIVEN FOR EXPIRED PLATES A 19-year-old driver was stopped near the corner of Lewis Ridge Road and Evergreen Parkway after a deputy noticed the license plate on the driver's car had an expired plate. When stopped, the man said, "Is there a problem?" The officer explained his plates were expire. The man was given a summons because he could not provide proof of insurance and was displaying expired plates. His vehicle was towed. NEIGHBOR POISONS YARD, MOVES ON On June 25 at 6:51 p.m., a deputy went to the 4800 block of So. Taft Street on a report of a neighbor dispute. A 46-year-old man said he had a neighbor for more than a year and had never gotten along with him. He complained that the neighbor tossed wood chips into a vacant field between their houses. Two weeks ago the neighbor put lawn fertilizer on his yard and sprayed part of the man's yard, killing a potted plant and the yard grass. The deputy observed two yellow bare spots in the lawn that measure 8- by 4 feet. Then he told the deputy the man had moved and he didn't know his full name.
