FLAGS STOLEN FROM KITTREDGE TAVERN
On May 13 at 7:40 a.m., a deputy contacted the owner of the Bear Creek Tavern, 25940 Colorado 74. by phone. The woman said on May 9 when she arrived, shje discovered three flags and an old bailing hook were missing from the front of the business. She said she didn't report it but replaced the flags. When she arrrived on may 13, those flags were missing and two of the flag poles were bent. The woman said the flags were POW and First Cavalry flags. The deputy asked if she had any idea who might have stolen the flas and she couldn't think of anyone. She said the business has been open for many year with a "good rapport" with the community. The deputy said added patrol would be initiated.


MAN ON ROOF SUSPECTED
On May 7 at 9 a.m., a deputy went to the 25700 block of Conifer Road and spoke to the caretaker of the property. She showed the deputy an entry door that was damaged along the latch. There was not evidence the door had been pried open. The woman said she thought the damage was cause by a person she called "the man on the roof/" She described him as a man who comes to the building and climbs to the roof. She said she had not seen him and didn't know his name. She thought he came there to purposely scare the women who work in the building.

NEIGHBORS HAVE HISTORY
On May 7 at 8 p.m., a deputy went to the 26200 block of Kingsbury Road in Kittredge and contacted a man who said he had a problem with his neighbor. He said the neighbor yelled at him about a large trash can on the neighbor's property that was next to the reporting party's driveway. He admitted having a 'history" with the neighbor that involved the neighbor's mother and a mortgage. He said since then, there was a lot of tension between the two. The man said the neighbor yelled, "You got a problem with me, why don't you come over here and I will show you about being a man." The deputy talked to the neighbor and he said if the man had a problem he should come over and tell him instead of calling the police. The deputy talked to both parties before leaving the scene. No charges were pursued.

MYSTERIOUS OBJECT IN FLOOR
On May 8 at 1:30 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Haley's Closet, 25700 block of Conifer Road. The employee said she arrived at work at 8:30 a.m. and noticed a piece of metal sticking out near the floor of the north wall. There was construction going on at the building. When she showed the piece of metal to a construction worker, he said he would contact his manager. The woman didn't know if the incident was intentional or accidental.

GAS DRIVE OFF IN BERGEN PARK
On May 8 at 9:38 p.m., a deputy responded to the Loaf-N-Jug on Bergen Parkway. A customer said he was upset because the clerk made a mistake when he pre-paid for gasoline. He said she assigned his purchase to a different pump and was rude to him. The clerk said the man came in and said he would prepay and use pump No. 2, but when the man came in he said it wasn't working. The clerk said there were several customers inside the store and that another vehicle had driven away without paying. The deputy asked to see video surveillance, but the clerk said she didn't have access to the equipment. The clerk said a manager would be there at 4 a.m.. The deputy said he would follow up with the manager.
