Adaptive Adventures receives "Adopt a Cause" check from Breeze Ski Rentals to help fund progressive sports and recreational programs for physically disabled children and youth in Colorado.
(Evergreen, Colorado) Adaptive Adventures announced today that it received almost $4,000 from the "Adopt a Cause" matching gift program offered at 5 Breeze Ski and Snowboard Rental locations. Breeze Ski Rental matched 50% of all contributions made to Adaptive Adventures from their store locations during the months of December and January, 2008. "Adaptive Adventures provides lifelong outdoor recreation memories for many that might not have had these opportunities. Breeze Ski shops are proud to sponsor such a great organization. We look forward to many successful fundraising campaigns", said Matt Cannon, Area Manager Breeze Ski and Snowboard Rentals.
Adaptive Adventures provides progressive sports and recreation opportunities for children and adults with physical disabilities. Adaptive Adventures offers year-round outdoor programming that brings the programs to the people throughout Colorado. Some of the program areas include: alpine and Nordic skiing; handcycling and adaptive cycling; waterskiing, paddling, kayaking, and rafting; and adaptive sports programs specifically for kids as well as community education and information outreach programs.
