HOMEOWNERS DISCOURAGE PARKING

On April 21 at 6:57 p.m., a deputy went to the 1200 block of Red Lodge Drive and talked to a homeowner who said he was the treasurer of the homeowner's association. He said due to the narrow roads, no parking was allowed on the roadway, but a black Ford truck had parked in front of the neighbor's yard possibly damaging the landscape. He put a notice on the windshield, but the next time he looked out, the truck was gone and the notice was stuck on his garage door. He said the HOA would pursue charges. Due to the snow on the ground damage could not be immediately ascertained and the deputy left. The case is open pending additional suspect information.

NEIGHBOR REPORTS SUSPICIONS

The deputy checked and discovered the lights the man saw were coming from an arena building on the property. When the deputy checked the house, it was vacant and there were no footprints in the snow. The owner was called and he said there was nothing of value at the house.

The owner said between 6 p.m. the day before and 6:30 a.m. April 22, a window screen had been pried off the front of the shop. The screen frame was bent and leaning against the building. The owner said the alarm did not go off, but nothing was missing. The deputy took photos of the window and said extra patrol would be provided.
