Double fatal crash in Jefferson County


On July 13, 2006 at approximately 3:12 A.M. Colorado State Patrol Troopers responded too a double fatal crash on High Grade Rd. south of Deer Creek Rd. The Pontiac was northbound on High Grade Rd. before colliding with the guard rail and rolling-over one half time.

The driver Paul Ondrish age 20 of Littleton, CO and the front seat passenger Brandon Nichols age 20 of Littleton, CO were both ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene.

Three rear seat passengers Paul Ladewig age 20, Corey Grubich age 20, and Kenneth Beers age 20 all of Littleton, CO were transported to Swedish Medical Center with minor injuries. All three passengers were charged with Illegal Possesion/Consumption of Alcohol by person under 21 years of age.

Alcohol and speed are believed to be the casual factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
