On Sept.13 at approximately 11:50 P.M. the Colorado State Patrol responded to The westbound lane of I -70 at milepost 254 near the town of Genesee.
A 2005 International bus driven by
Stephen Robertson, 31 of Longmont, Co. was traveling westbound on I -70. The driver attempted to avoid road debri. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and into a dirt embankment rolling over 1/4 time onto its left side.
The bus contained a total of twenty passengers. Five of the passengers were transported to St. Anthony's Central with minor to moderate injuries.
The following passengers were identified:
Cara B. Harshman, 26 of Evergreen.- Moderte injuries
Dennis D. Forst, 54 of Morrison. - Moderate injuries
Ashley R. Guess, 24 of Evergreen. - Moderate injuries
William D. Green, 25 of Evergreen. - Minor injuries
Gary E. Mitchell Jr., 35 of Morrison,.- Minor injuries
Alcohol, drugs, and speed are not suspected as contributing factors.
