Construction to occur through September
Construction has been scheduled on County Road 73 from North Turkey Creek Rd. to Thimbleberry Lane in Evergreen in order to improve traffic safety in this area.
The Evergreen/Conifer Traffic Impact Fee Fund will pay for the improvements, estimated at $2.2 million. Various lane closures will be necessary during the construction and traffic delays are expected.
Construction improvements include:
• Add a third lane (continuous two-way left turn lane) from North Turkey
• Creek to the main entrance of the Evergreen Professional Center just north of Marshmerry Lane.
• Construct a modern roundabout at the intersection of JC 73 & North Turkey Creek Road.
• Build shoulders 6 feet in width on both sides of JC 73.
• Construct limited drainage improvements.
