Clear Creek firefighters train for ice emergencies

Volunteer firefighters of Clear Creek Fire Authority trained for ice rescue emergencies at Georgetown lake on Feb. 10. Instructors Jeremy Jones and Brook Anderson of the CCFA and John Overpeck of the Clear Creek Sheriff's Office conducted the training.

Firefighters who passed the course, which consisted of classroom work and practical evolutions, earned ice rescue certifications from Dive Rescue International.
