The Denver Dog Ban has caused thousands of innocent dogs to be put to death and has caused many families of these once beloved pets immense grief and sorrow.
Some, like Forrest , was incarcerated at the Denver Municipal Shelter for the simple fact that he may have looked like a Pitbull . He was found in the City of Denver walking down a street. He was never considered vicious, even by the Director of the shelter, Doug Kelley, who said, "he was a sweetie". Forrest was released , but not back to his owner, Chris McGahey. Forrest is being released to a rescue group.
The following link (video), though a day late and after Forrest's release is still very valid.
