Evergreen Country Day School Stundent Wins 2009 Iron Kids National Championship

Evergreen's own Parker Juels was recently crowned 2009 Iron Kids National Junior Champion after competing in and winning this year's Iron Kids Triathlon Championship in Tucson, AZ October 4,.

In order to compete in this final event, Parker had to compete in other qualifying triathlon events such as "Regionals" in Colorado.

The final event consisted of a 50 meter swim, a 2 mile bike courseand a 500 yard run.

Also competing in the event was Parker's brother Wesley who is also an Evergreen Country Day School student.

Congratulations to both young men for their achievments!
