Spring 2006 Academic All-Mountain West Conference Team Announced* A total of 77 student-athletes from Colorado State University were named to the spring 2006 All-Mountain West Conference team.
To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
Track and Field led the way for the Rams with the women earning 25 selections and the men adding 20. Swimming and Diving earned 12 selections, followed by six from the softball team, four from women's basketball and three each from women's golf and tennis. Rounding out the list were the men's basketball team and men's golf team with two players selected.
