Evergreen swimming All Stars

The Evergreen Hurricanes Swim Team is proud to announce two of its team members were selected to join the Colorado All Stars Swim Team. Lindsay Morrow, qualified in the 11-12 year old girls category and Lexie Malazdrewicz, qualified in the 13-14 yearold girls category.

The All Stars Competition invites the top 10 swimmers of each state, by gender, to compete. The annual event includes swimmers representing the states of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. Morrow and Malazdrewicz, as members of Team Colorado, travelled to the meet in Lawrence, Kansas held over Martin Luther King, Jr., weekend. Both girls placed well in their events.

The Evergreen Hurricanes is Evergreen's local competitive swim team. The team practices regularly at the Wulf Recreation Center.
