Mountain Lacrosse League (Mountain Lax), one of the fastest-growing youth developmental lacrosse leagues in Colorado, today announced the opening of online registration for the fourth annual Mountain Lax Jam (Lax Jam), scheduled for May 23-24, 2009 on fields in scenic Evergreen, CO and Conifer, CO.

Teams from the Denver area and as far away as Cheyenne, WY are expected to participate in the recreational round-robin, no-elimination Lax Jam, in which every team is guaranteed to play four games. There will be three boys divisions, kindergarten through 8 th grade, high school junior varsity, and high school varsity, and one girls division, 4 th-8 th grade.

In support of their local community, parents and players of the Mountain Lax invite all participating teams to donate non-perishable canned goods during the Jam, which will be collected for the food banks supplied by Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO). Currently, the food banks have a particular need for cereal, snacks, juice, mayonnaise, coffee, cake mixes, and personal care items.
