Georgetown Loop to open Memorial Day

The Georgetown Loop Railroad in Silver Plume and Georgetown, Colorado, will open Memorial Day weekend for the 2006 season.
Look for these events:
-The first ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad and tour of the Lebanon Silver Mine for the 2006 season.

-A dedication ceremony commemorating the centennial of the Argentine Central Railway reaching the summit of Mt. McClellan.

-Clear Creek County Railroad Days Festival, with fun activities for all ages in Georgetown, Silver Plume and Empire.

-The impending return of the recently restored historic Colorado & Southern No. 9 locomotive.
