FEDERAL HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY HOLDS GRAND OPENING OF "LITTLE CLOSET AT THE HEIGHTS"
Federal Heights Elementary School, 2500 W. 96th Ave., Federal Heights.

The grand opening of the "Little Closet at the Heights" will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 3 - 4 p.m. at Federal Heights Elementary School, 2500 W. 96th Ave., Federal Heights. The event will take place in the school cafeteria. A group of second- and fourth-grade students will participate in a fashion show featuring clothing from the closet and refreshments will be served. Invited guests include Superintendent Mike Paskewicz, the Five Star Education Foundation board members, the Board of Education, the Federal Heights City Council, Mayor Joyce Thomas and other Federal Heights officials.

The "Little Closet at the Heights" is a resource for the students at Federal Heights Elementary. Students can buy clothes with good reward tickets and parents may receive clothing on an asneeded-basis. All clothing for the closet comes from donations from other schools in the Five Star District, church volunteers, teachers and community members. Two children's boutiques, the Petite Patoot in Denver and Childish Things in Boulder, have also donated items. Elizabeth Fuselier has volunteered many hours to make the "Little Closet at the Heights" a success.
