Federal Heights looking for new council member


NOTICE OF OPEN SEAT AVAILABLE FOR APPOINTMENT ON THE

CITY OF FEDERAL HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL

There currently exists a vacancy in a Ward ­Three seat on the Federal Heights City Council. The City Council will conduct interviews and consider appointing an individual to fill the vacancy at the City Council meeting on February 10, 2009. The appointed person would fulfill the balance of the term, which ends in November 2009.

All persons interested in being considered for appointment must pick up and submit a completed Nomination Packet by 5:00p.m. on February 2, 2009 and a Nominee Questionnaire by 5:00p.m. on February 5, 2009 to the City Clerk, Phyllis Schott. Nomination Packets are currently available at the City Clerk's office at City Hall. Nominee Questionnaires will be available at the City Clerk's office at City Hall after January 27, 2009. Questionnaire packets can also be downloaded from this link: Nomination Packet (279.89 Kb).

Nomination Packets and Nominee Questionnaires may be submitted in person or via email, fax or U.S. mail.
