Drop Your Coats Off for a Good Cause

Here's some news from Adams 12 Five Star Schools (an opportunity to get rid of your coats that don't match your style or size any more!):

BOLLMAN TEACHER CADET STUDENTS HOLD COAT DRIVE FOR DISTRICT FAMILIES at Educational Support Center, 1500 E. 128th Ave., Thornton.

Students in the Bollman Technical Education Center Teacher Cadet program are holding a coat drive with a goal to collect more than 600 coats and cold weather clothing for students and families in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools. All sizes of clothing such as coats, hats, mittens, scarves, boots and sweaters are needed. Items may be donated through Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the winter coat collection box located in the main reception area of the Educational Support Center, 1500 E. 128th Ave., Thornton.

The Teacher Cadet program features an innovative, hands-on curriculum where students gain knowledge about teaching and learning. The skills help students in college and career.
