Sheriff Darr stated, "We are committed to serving the community well. To do this we must have skilled, informed and well-educated employees. We strive to provide quality training for the members of the Sheriff's Office so they are able to maximize their potential and the contributions they are able to make to the Sheriff's Office and to the citizens of Adams County. Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety offers an exceptional training opportunity and we carefully select the attendees for courses of this nature. Those who attend have demonstrated the ability and desire to apply the course curriculum to obtain maximum benefit from the experience."
