My name: Juanita Holt
Age: 47
My family: Husband-Bret, 2 children Phillip and Mandy, 4 brothers and sisters
What I do: Office Manager for a used Car lot
My favorite place in town to hang out: Home/Parkway Cafe
What I like most about living here:I love living here because of the mountains and the people.
My interests and hobbies:I love to cook and drive in the mountains looked for rocks and looking at the scenery.
What is my favorite thing to cook:Lasagna, sausage and peppers
People who inspired me (and how):My Dad and Mom they both have worked very hard my Dad is a Pearl Harbor Survivor and worked for the City of Federal Heights as a Police Chief, Council member, Mayor. My mom worked for Mountain Bell for years. They have both taught me how to be a
loving person and to encourage and help others to be the best that they could be.
How I have contributed to the community:I have lived in the City of Federal Heights since 1973. I graduated from Thornton High School. I have volunteered for Federal Heights Elementary School as Rep for the District School Improvement Team, I did that for about 2 years then went to Niver Creek Middle School for 3 years. I wanted to be involved with the kids, because they are our future.
What are the biggest issues facing your city now:Budget, needing more businesses to bring in more revenue. We also need to help our citizens become more involved with whats going on.
