Children’s Writer Scholarship Deadline

What:	The deadline for the Vickie Ferguson Memorial Children's Writer Scholarship is approaching. This scholarship honors the memory of Vickie Ferguson, long-time member of RMC-SCBWI. The memorial offers one or more full or partial scholarships to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators 2008 Fall Conference. The event held September 20-21 will bring together writers, illustrators and children's book industry professionals to help foster our community of learning and sharing. Entries for the scholarship must be received by Saturday, July 19, 2008. The winner(s) will be notified prior to the conference and conference fees paid for by RMCSCBWI using scholarship funds.
