Spend a lazy afternoon enjoying jazz this Sunday


You are invited to a Sunday jazz afternoon at The Sanctuary on the campus of Christ's Episcopal Church. Kathy Mordeaux, a jazz musician and scholar of exceptional insight, will present a first-of-its-kind piano concert at Christ's Church. Kathy will entertain us on the Steinway Grand piano with George Gershwin music, transcriptions of jazz piano pieces by Duke Ellington and 'Fats' Waller, sophisticated jazz arrangements by contemporary composers, including Mark Hayes and Larry Shackley, as well as her own interpretations of such jazz standards as String of Pearls, The Saints, St. Louis Blues, Stormy Weather and more.

Tickets: are available at the door. Students with ID - $8; all others - $15
