Contributed by: joe skalisky on 9/15/2006

On Sept. 10, Parker Boy Scout Troop 88 held its Court of Honor at Mr. Kim Albee's home in Parker. Highlights included: cooking and devouring a 203 pound pig; 91 year young Mr. Willard Mounts joining the troop; the retirement of ofeight American flags, including one that flew over the South Pole; and the recognition of the boys achievements for the past 6 months, including six Eagle Scouts. Over 100 Scouts and family members attended the gala event which was held under clear blue skies.Life is great!

All boys 11 years old or more who are interested in camping, fishing, hiking, games, history, guest speakers, or touring fun sites, are welcome to visit Troop 88. If you are busy with sports, school, family activities, or church, it's ok, ...so are we! Troop 88 understands that we all have other commitments ... we can work around other schedules, in fact, we encourage our Scouts to be active in other ventures...we believe that our boys should experience all that life has to offer.

Troop 88 meets every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., at the Parker Presbyterian Church (PEPC), 9100 E. Parker Road (off East Main Street just past Canterberry).
