Douglas County Television wins in eight different categories at the prestigious Emmy Awards
The Network DC, Douglas County Television, strolled down the red carpet eight times to pick up 14 Emmy awards at the 2007 Emmy Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Donald R. Seawell Grand Ballroom of the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
The Network DC scooped up awards in the following categories:
· Program Editor, "Editor Composite - Brad Johanson"
· Musical Composition/Arrangement, "Music Composition - Composite" - Gene Park and Brad Johanson, Composers
· Narrator, "Starlight" - Mark Connolly, Narrator and Writer
· Director: Post Production, "186 Miles To Ride" - Megan Cotler, Director
· Program Promotion: Single Spot, "Authors @ Douglas County Libraries" - David Schler, Executive Producer; Gene Park, Director of Photography; Brad Johanson, Editor
· Program Photographer, "Photographer Composite - Gene Park"
· PSA - Campaign, "DC Volunteer Campaign" - David Schler, Executive Producer; Kelly Herndon, Producer/Director; Gene Park, Director of Photography, Editor, Music; Brad Johanson, Editor/Music
· Lighting, "Lighting Craft Achievement - Gene Park" - Gene Park, Director of Photography
