Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and Colorado Free University Partner to Host People's Law School

Attorneys from the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association have partnered with Colorado Free University to empower Coloradans with information about our judicial system, and various areas of the law.

Each week a different topic will be covered including:

  • Employment Law from the Employee's Perspective
  • Basics of Family Law
  • Navigating Legal Issues in Healthcare Law
  • Legal Rights of Landlords and Tenants
  • Rights of the Injured

The People's Law School seminars are a unique chance for the public to become informed about the legal system, and what their rights are under Colorado's laws. The seminars are informational only, and no specific legal advice will be given.

Seminar Details

Dates: Five (5) consecutive Mondays, beginning September 8, October 20 and January 26, 2009

Time: 6:00-9:00 pm

Location: Colorado Free University, Lowry Campus, 7653 East 1st Place, Denver

Tuition: $130 member/$171 non-member for all 5 seminars; $29 member/$38 non-member for each individual seminar

The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association is comprised of Colorado trial lawyers who are committed to the protection and advancement of individual rights and to the advancement of trial advocacy skills, high ethical standards and professionalism in the ongoing effort to preserve and improve the American system of jurisprudence.
