Contributed by: Michelle Cingrani on 7/16/2008

Patrons living near or just stopping by the newly-opened Sports Center in Glendale won't have to go far to find a good book. The Arapahoe Library District opened its first "satellite location" July 1, in partnership with the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver and the City of Glendale. The Infinity Park Satellite is located inside the Glendale Sports Center and houses popular fiction titles (in English) that are available to be checked out.

The City of Glendale hosted a celebration to kick off the official July 5 grand opening of the Glendale Sports Center, including the Infinity Park Satellite. To learn more about the Infinity Park Satellite, watch for future details at www.arapahoelibraries.org.

Glendale Library, currently in the Glendale Community Center off of S. Cherry and E. Tennessee, will relocate to the corner of S. Parker Road and E. Florida Avenue in early 2009. The new location will serve the communities of Four Square Mile, Glendale and Holly Hills.
