CAR AND BELONGINGS STOLEN
A 21-year-old woman's car was stolen while she was inside El Potrero restaurant and nightclub at 320 S. Birch St. according to police reports. Police say an unknown suspect stole the white 2000 Mitsubishi Galant some time between 11:30 p.m. May 17 and 1:15 a.m. May 18. The vehicle had many of the woman's belongings inside, including a phone, camera and purse. There was not a figure for the total estimated loss.
VAN STOLEN
A 36-year-old man's van was stolen from the parking lot of Whole Foods, 870 S. Colorado Blvd. on May 18, according to police reports. Police say the van was stolen some time between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. after being parked by an acquaintance, to whom the owner gave permission to drive the van. Police said the van was worth an estimated $1,000.
BREAK-IN IN PARKING LOT
An unknown suspect broke into a vehicle belonging to a 29-year-old Glendale woman some time May 18, according to police reports. Police say the vehicle was parked outside the woman's apartment on the 4800 block of Kentucky Avenue when, some time between 12:30 and 11:15 a.m., the suspect broke a passenger-side window and took an mp3 player from inside. Police said the damage to the window cost an estimated $300 and the mp3 player was valued at about $150.
