MAN TURNS SELF IN FOR DRUGGING, RAPE
On June 10, a 49-year-old Greeley man turned himself in on a $50,000 warrant for a March 25 sex assault, according to police reports. Police said on the night of March 25, the suspect met with a friend and acquaintances, two 26-year-old men and a 22-year-old woman, and served them drinks in his room at Crosslands Hotel, 4850 Leetsdale Drive. All three reported blacking out around 1 a.m. One of the men reported regaining awareness while on a payphone on the street. The other man and woman reported waking up in the man's hotel room. According to police reports, when the woman woke up, the suspect was having sex with her. The two in the man's hotel room consented to blood and urine tests for traces of drugs and turned text messages and call logs over to police.

MAN ARRESTED FOR BEATING GIRLFRIEND, CHILD
A 21-year-old Glendale woman flagged down a police patrol car near the 1000 block of South Birch Street at about 1:28 a.m. June 18, according to police reports. Police said the woman was being chased by her boyfriend, 21, who had punched her multiple times in the head. The woman told police that during the attack, the suspect had also hit their baby, 1, in the head. The woman was taken to Denver Health for treatment. The suspect had fled on foot when the woman flagged down the police car, but was taken into custody at the couple's apartment at about 7:30 a.m. when police paid a follow-up visit to their apartment. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault, child abuse and felony domestic violence.

CAR BREAK-IN NETS DVD PLAYER
An unknown suspect broke into a vehicle in the Walgreen's parking lot at 360 S. Colorado Blvd. some time between 8 p.m. June 12 and 10 a.m. June 13, according to police reports. Police say the suspect entered the vehicle and took a DVD player worth $225, two prescription bottles with $30 worth of medication and $10 to $20 in quarters. Police spoke with the manager of the store and were in the process of getting surveillance footage of the lot.

JEEP STOLEN FROM PARKING LOT
Some time between 7:50 and 10 a.m. June 14, police say an unknown suspect stole a 1999 Jeep Cherokee from the parking lot of Home Depot, 860 S. Colorado Blvd. The vehicle had a total estimated value of about $3,000.

BREAK-IN CULPRIT CAUGHT ON VIDEO
A 32-year-old woman told police her vehicle was broken into at about 3:55 p.m. June 5, according to reports. Police say an unknown suspect broke a window in the vehicle, parked in the 24 Hour Fitness parking garage at 4120 E. Alameda Ave., and took a wallet worth $120, 20 tubes of lipgloss valued at $160, a gold necklace worth $80, $5 of cash and several credit cards. Police said the credit card was used shortly thereafter for a $799.67 purchase at Target, 4301 E. Virginia Ave. Police spoke with the store's loss management staff and located the suspect on video. At the time of the report, police had not announced an arrest but believe the suspect to be a 28-year-old woman from Commerce City.
