The Colorado Council of Camera Clubs is an affiliation of six camera clubs throughout the Denver metro area totaling about 150 members. It was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1955. The Council's website is at http://www.coloradocameraclubs.org/

The Council:

• Organizes quarterly inter-club photo competitions (4 th Thursdays of February, May, August and November, 7:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Ohio and Corona)

• Provides a forum for communication and exchange of ideas between member clubs

• Collates and distributes a list of programs and presenters available for club meetings

• Organizes a yearly competition for all member clubs

Its objectives are:

• To assist member clubs in achieving closer relationships with one another

• To foster a greater appreciation of and interest in photography

The Council's member clubs are:

The Aurora Society of Photographers

Meets at 7:00 p.m.the 3rd Monday --effective February 2007--of each month (except Jul & Dec)in the Community Room of Aurora Fire Station #11, Aurora, CO (The fire station is located on the northwest corner of Iliff and Joliet.)

Englewood Camera Club

Meets at7:00 p.m. 2 nd Tuesday of each month at Greenwood Village City Hall, Community Room First Floor, 6060 S Quebec St.. Greenwood Village, CO

Focus Camera Club

Meets at 7:00 p.m., 1 st & 3 rd Tuesdays of each month. Meets near Holly and County Line Road; call for directions.

High Country Camera Club

Meets at 7:00 p.m. 1st Monday of each month (with the following exceptions: December is an Award Ceremony and there is no meeting in September). Meets at United Methodist Church, 76th and Lowell, Westminster, CO (Use west basement entrance).
