I'm from Iowa, and around the parts where I grew up, we know what a cow looks like. When I heard we were having a contest to design something called a "YourHub.cow," I jumped at the chance. It is with a fair amount of confidence that I challenge you to try to beat either of my cow designs, pictured at right.

Here's how it works: You download and print off an entry form here, then spend a few minutes or hours getting inspired and coming up with your design. Then you scan it in and post it to YourHub.com here, or mail it into YourHub.com, Attn: Executive Judge of Cow Designs, 100 Gene Amole Way, Denver, CO 80204.

If your cow design is chosen as the winner, we (and by "we," I mean the band of misfits known as the YourHub.com staff) will paint it on a cow -- not a real cow, but a sculpture in the shape of a cow. Don't worry, we'll be guided by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Your cow design will be displayed in various locations throughout the Denver metro area from July 22 to Oct. 20 as part of the Denver CowParade.

The official rules and regulations are here. Of course, YourHub.com staff are ineligible to win, and not because we're employees of the sponsoring organization. It's because my cow is AWESOME and it wouldn't be fair to everyone else.
