The Colorado Wind Ensemble, a volunteer community ensemble performing repertoire at a professional level,is holding auditions for regular members and alternates in the clarinet, bassoon, horn, trombone, and percussion sections; and for alternate players in the flute/piccolo, oboe/English horn, saxophone, trumpet, euphonium, and tuba sections for concerts this season. We also have an immediate need for a regular season pianist and for alternate players on harp and string bass for pieces this season.

Players with prior college wind ensemble experience or equivalent with a high regard for the repertoire are invited to audition. The CWE rehearses on Tuesday evenings at Grant Avenue Community Center, 216 S. Grant St. in Denver and presents a subscription concert series in Littleton, with additional concerts and outreach throughout the metropolitan area.
