Registration for this year's summer program at Clear Creek History Park has begun!

Kids and parents love the Clear Creek History Park's summer history camp. Your child will pan for gold, bake a homemade pie and feed our chickens at the weeklong Hands-On History Summer Sessions!

This weeklong outdoor program, for 6-10 year olds, combines the history of pioneers in the Colorado Territory with a creative interactive fun program. The week wraps up with all the kids creating a pageant for your whole family to enjoy.

Dates for the program are

· June 8 - 12- SOLDOUT

· June 15 - 19 - SOLDOUT

· June 22 - 26

· July 6 - 10

· July 13 - 17 - SOLDOUT

· July 20 - 24 - SOLDOUT

· July 27 - 31- SOLDOUT

These are week long sessions.

The program runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $160 for members of Golden History Museums (two child max) and $195 for non-members. To become a member, be sure to visit the Web site. There is a $40 family membership fee includes discount on Hands on History for two children, discount on four Tea Time at the Astor House tickets; free admission to the Astor House Museum, Golden History Center and Clear Creek History park, which is for six family members.
