Description:
Golden History Museums is seeking a Summer Program Assistant for its Hands on History Summer sessions. The sessions are for children ages 6-10 and are held for 7 weeks from June 8 through July 31, 2009. (Not including the week of July 4th). You will be interpreting Golden regional history from the mid to late 1800s in a fun and educational manner. The Summer Program Assistant will report to the Summer Program Leader and will help supervise the volunteer Junior Leader. The fast-paced daily program explores history through a variety of hands-on activities. The assistant is responsible for helping to manage a group of 20 children each week, leading daily programming, all while maintaining a safe and fun environment.
