Congratulations CASA training class of March 2009!


Congratulations to the new training class of CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties! Thirty-six dedicated community members went through 40 hours of intense training and were sworn into the Jefferson County Courts on March 10 th, 2009. These volunteers will be appointed by a Judge to cases of child abuse and neglect to represent the best interests of the children involved. The newest CASA volunteer class includes: Lee Ann Baroch, Brenda Bauer, Michelle Betzler, Susie Britt-Lewis, Erin Burns, Mary Lou Carter, Pat Cervera, Beth Corbitt, Jeanne Dietz, Cheryl Doyle, Margene Filson, Sally Fodor, Nancy Folcik, Wendy Ganza, Stacey Gleave, Celzo Gonzalez, Heather Irvine, Joel Jensen, Liz Keyser, Emily Kinzer, Scharleen Logan, Linnette Mancuso, Lisa McLagan, Cleo Nelson, Nadine Owens, Lisa Patterson, Cathy Paxton, Maureen Price, Denise Redwine, Mary Rockwell, Heather Sander, Linda Standard, Carrie Tamura, Aurilla Woodburn, Pete Ziemke, and Gretchen Zimmerle.
